Reception class visit
On Monday afternoon, the 1st July 2024 we were very pleased to have a visit from the children and teachers of the reception class. They came to meet our Organist Rosamund Wood and explore how a Church Organ works and what sounds it can make.

We all had a great time finding out how the Organ works. Discovering how air is sucked into the large pipes which then can make some very interesting sounds. Rosamund showed us how she can play using just her feet on the pedals.
We were all joining in singing along to nursery rhymes and listened to Rosamund playing 'Toccata and Fugue' by J.S. Bach which really showed us the wonderous noises an organ can produce.
We couldn't finish withour letting our visitors have a go too!
